The best program for communication in your LAN. Home or office. Also you can change default port and communicate with someone on secret port number without worry that somebody will intercept your note message. Simple but this is program with muscles.
A small company with a Windows network should use a software application like ShixxNOTE which is a network-enabled sticky notes program. Every computer on the network listens to new messages which when found are presented to the user like colorful desktop sticky notes via which a reply can be sent instantly.
We’ve been using ShixxNOTE on our company computers ever since 2005! It is a great little application. What sets it apart from the other "post-it note" type applications that are available is the network communication capabilities and the ease of setup! It doesn’t require a degree in networking to make it work, so it is perfect for the average end-user.
ShixxNOTE is a computer equivalent of Sticky Note, and it works equally well on your local computer and on LAN, Internet or e-mail. It makes writing notes to yourself or to your colleagues very easy and instant. The sticky notes appear "sticked" on your desktop, and it is pretty hard to forget something that is written on them.
This is one of the best program I ever installed for office communication. That is exactly I was looking for. I have office with 10 computers in LAN. So if I want to use program as a desktop note then I open simple note and write something to not forget. BTW I has all options you need. Reminder, etc. But power of ShixxNOTE is communication. Sending note to 10 computers with one click. I use it every day to. Great and neat program.
